CAA Literary Awards Shortlist
I'm so pleased that The Golden Mean is on the Canadian Authors Association Literary Awards shortlist. It's in stellar company, alongside Michael Crummey's Galore and Ian Weir's Daniel O'Thunder. The winner will be announced on June 26, 2010 at the CAA Literary Awards banquet, held at the Harbour Towers Hotel in Victoria, BC. For more information, please click here.

Congratulations and high praise to Annabel Lyon for her work, THE GOLDEN MEAN. As one whose M.A. thesis and Ph.D. dissertation were devoted to topics in the works of Aristotle and who taught Early Greek Philosophy for 35 years, I found Lyon's book engaging, historically competent and tantalizing in its speculation.
